50L Kegmenter 304 Stainless

Quick Overview

These 50L stainless steel vessels are designed just like a 50L keg but with a large 4 inch (approx 10cm) tri-clover opening at the top so you can easily get inside the keg to clean it out. Unlike most other stainless steel fermenters this Kegmenter includes the stainless steel ball lock posts and pressure relief valve so you can use the fermenter as a keg if you want to.

The Kegmenter can hold 3.5bar which makes it possible to carbonate and ferment in the same vessel. You can either carbonate naturally with the use of our adjustable pressure relief valve (see in picture below to the left) or if you are using a CO2 gas cylinder you can force carbonate. Being able to hold pressure also means you can push the beer out of the fermenter directly through a filter or even dispense directly from fermenter to draft beer tap if you wanted to. The posts on the lid of the Kegmenter are recessed below the level of the chimes so the Kegmenters can be stacked. The interlocking chimes means the kegs can be safely stacked up to 4 high. Pressure Limitations Maximum Working Pressure: 3.5 BAR Test Pressure: 5 BAR Wall Thickness (Body/Chimes): 1.8mm/2.1mm

These kegmenters are ideal for use as fermenters, wine topping vessels, carbonation tanks for beer champagne or other products, mini-bright beer tan or even just a convensional keg.
